+ Entries must be submitted in person on CD, Amiga 3"1/4 DD
floppy, C64 5"1/2 DD floppy or USB storage device.
+ You must give competition organizers permission to freely distribute
your entries
+ Your entry must be your own original work ane not released at
a previous party / event
+ Remote enteries are acceptable, but you must nominate someone
to hand over the disc and potentially collect your prize.
- In the unlikley event that we have a flood of entries, there will
be only one entry per person (so tell us your favorite)
Oldskool Tracked music competition:
+ Amiga Tracker formats playable on Hippoplayer (Amiga)
+ PC Tracker formats playable on Deliplayer (PC) or XMPlay (PC)
+ C64 available - the preferred format is executable code (we will
load"*",8,1). Or you can bring an app and data file*
+ SID files are ok but conversion to PRG is preferable (unless someone
can bring a HardSid)
- No WAV, MP3, OGG, MIDI, etc. If you don't understand what a tracker
format is see this
page
- No lossy compression of samples is allowed (eg. M03 format)
Maximum 2 entries and 6 minute
total playing time per entrant.
Maximum filesize 880k per entry.
Tracked Music handicap system:
+25% less than 64kb filesize
+30% less than 4kb filesize
+25% 4 channel
+30% 3 channel or less (including SID)
* We can potentially help you
port across a D64 or ADF disk image to a real floppy. We ask that
you contact us in advance if you require any assistance in doing
this.We
may also have a cartridge on the day allowing direct access to D64
